COLEBAY, Sint Maarten — A brand new, state-of-art building will be erected in the coming months on the site that formerly housed the Motorworld sales department on the Welfare Road in Cole Bay, the Motorworld Group of Companies recently announced.
The investment in a brand new building reinforces Motorworld Group’s confidence in St. Maarten and its people. The group is already one of the largest employers on the island and expects to employ additional workforce to complete the project.
While construction will take approximately one year to complete, Motorworld remains open and entirely committed to offering the same great customer service and vehicle pricing at the temporary showroom at the current location.
“We are still very much open for business at the current Motorworld location and will continue to offer our clients the best car buying experience on the island, which will be further enhanced when we open the brand new building”, said Mrs. Rena Amjad, CEO of the Motorworld Group of Companies. “Offering our customers the best brands, price and customer service has always been our objective and therefore we continue to make investments to be able to do so. Our major car brands have been urging us for years to upgrade and improve our showroom and facilities and we are finally able to do so with the kind assistance of a local bank,” according to Mrs. Amjad.
Since its inception, Motorworld has been continuously giving back to the St. Maarten community through their annual donations and sponsorships and insists that this will continue despite the sizeable investments this year.
“Although we are undertaking significant capital works, the Motorworld Group will continue to engage in our usual donations and sponsorships as we are committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities to the island and people of St. Maarten. We sincerely thank our dear customers and look forward to your continued support and patronage as we strive to improve the way we do business with our most important asset, our customers”, concluded Mrs. Amjad.
